Every bot in Koshra is an AI employee with a role name, a written job, its own model and its own memory.

## Roles, not personas

Bots are named for the job they do, in lowercase snake_case: chief_of_staff, research_lead, client_lead, outbound_desk, decision_desk and so on. The role name is what you see in chats, on tasks and on approval cards.

## Leads and desks

chief_of_staff sits at the top. Leads own an area of work and desks do focused jobs inside it. Each lead has a team chat with its desks, with the lead listed first.

## Handoffs

Bots can message each other, hand work to the bot that owns it and run a subagent for a side job. Handoffs are capped per task so work cannot bounce between bots forever.

## Creating new bots

Only chief_of_staff and a small set of leads may create new bots, and every new bot needs your approval first.

## Routines

A bot can run a routine on a schedule, for example a Brain sync three times a day that proposes updates for your review. Routines run on the server, so they keep going when your laptop is closed. Creating or changing a schedule needs your approval.

## Modes and looks

Each bot has its own permission mode and its own look in the app, so you can tell at a glance who is working on what.
